Abstract:
This dissertation attempts to explore to what extent the Judiciary of Bangladesh has been independent after the final verdict of the Masder Hossain Case. It also tries to focus on the initiatives that have been taken to separate the judiciary from the executive and what are the obstacles available to implement the initiatives in this path. The dissertation has also discussed in briefly the conceptual side of independence of judiciary and lastly concluded with some recommendations, so that policy of independence of judiciary would be effective and helpful for the policy makers.
