CONTRIBUTION OF GREEN BANK TOWARD RURAL DEVELOPMENT IN BANGLADESH: A CASE STUDY OF SELECTED THREE COMMERCIAL BANK

Abstract

In this report the Overall work of Corporate Social Responsibility of in Bangladesh will be focused and described. To know the details about Dutch Bangla Bank Ltd, Social Islamic Bank Ltd, and Dhaka Bank Ltd. in“Contribution of Green Bank toward rural development in Bangladesh: A case study of selected Three Commercial Bank”.The company overview was collected both from internet and bank which I used in my report. The report will talk about the“Contribution of Green Bank toward rural development in Bangladesh: A case study of selected Three Commercial Bank”activities of Private Commercial Banks in Bangladesh, how my supervisor helped me to make the report, what I have learned from this dissertation and how my supervisor assessed me on my report. In this report, I have tried to give a comparative picture of the “Contribution of Green Bank toward rural development in Bangladesh: A case study of selected Three Commercial Bank”. I also defined what Practice of green banking and tried to show how important it is in this 21st century. The report has been segmented into seven parts. The first part focuses on introduction, scope of the report, objectives, methodology, and limitations. The second part includes banking sector in Bangladesh. The third part of the report gives an overview of Private Commercials Bank in Bangladesh. The fourth part gives an Overview of Green Banking activities and Global Warming and impact on environment- Bangladesh perspective of private commercial banks in Bangladesh. I have taken all the reasonable care to ensure the quality of the report and I hope that it has included all the necessary information which is in the scope of my ability.
