<title>SOIL STABILIZATION BY USING LIME</title>
<link>http://182.160.117.219:8080/xmlui/handle/123456789/212</link>
<description>SOIL STABILIZATION BY USING LIME
AOWAL, ROBIUL (CEN05909193); NAIEM AHMMED, MD. (CEN05909089); MAKSUDUR RAHMAN, MD. (CEN05909124)
Soil stabilization can be explained as the alteration of the soil properties by chemical or physical means in order to enhance the engineering quality of the soil. Lime is the oldest traditional stabilizer used for soil stabilization. The mechanism of soil-lime treatment involves cation exchange, which leads to the flocculation and agglomeration of soil particle.&#13;
The high pH environment then causes a pozzolanic reaction between the free [Ca+2] cations and the dissolved silica and alumina. Lime treated soil effectively increases the strength, durability and workability of the soil. Such treatment also improves soil compressibility. A fluctuation behavior was observed on the influence of lime on soil permeability. The main Objectives of the soil stabilization is to increase the bearing capacity of the soil, its resistance to weathering process and soil permeability. The long-term performance of any construction of project depends on the soundness of the underlying soils.&#13;
Unstable soils can create significant problems for pavements structures; therefore, soil stabilization techniques are necessary to ensure the good stability of soil so that it can successfully sustain the load of the super- structure especially in case of soil which are highly active, also it saves a lot of time and millions of money when compared to the method of cutting out and replacing the unstable soil.&#13;
In this research, compaction behavior (maximum dry density, optimum moisture content), are observed by performing laboratory test. These parameters are tested for both bare soil and using lime (2%, 4%, 6%) to understand the benefits of lime to use as soil stabilizer. All the results showed good agreement with the fact that lime can be used as an effective soil stabilizer to improve the soil stability.&#13;
In this research we find that: 1. The soil Type is Silty Clay. 2. The specific gravity of soil without lime=2.659 and with lime 2%=2.69,with lime 4%=2.68, and with lime 6%=2.66. 3. Particle Size Analysis by Hydrometer Test. D30 = 0.004 mm &amp; D60 = 0.025 mm 4. Liquid Limit for 57%. 5. Final results of compaction test 0% lime ρd =1.70(gm/cm3), OMC = 13.5%. 2% lime ρd =1.75(gm/cm3), OMC = 12.4%. 4% lime ρd =1.73(gm/cm3), OMC = 12%. 6% lime ρd =1.66(gm/cm3), OMC = 14%

<description>Intelligent Color Sensing Robotic Arm for Industrial Automation
Ahmed, Sumaiya CSE 05306698; Johirul Islam, Md. CSE 05306695
This paper presents an application to sort colored objects with a robotic arm. We have a robotic arm which picks different colored cubes and sorts them placing in different location. The detection of the particular colour is done by light intensity to frequency converter method.The robotic arm is controlled by a microcontroller based system which controls servo motors.With the microcontroller as a controller for the system,a manually feed object which is a coloring cubes will be determined by the robot to take and eject them to their exact location or station.There are four stations in the color sorter system that we made.Each station had their own range of color.The ball will be inserting manually by the user.Then the RGB sensor will detect what color is the object,after the detection been done,the decision will be made and the claw will take the object to the station that been recognized for it.

<description>AN INTERNSHIP REPORT ON INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY DIVISION OF STANDARD BANK LTD.
Nahid Ekram, Md. (CSE 05206618)
During my internship period of Standard Bank Ltd, I have investigated opportunities where technology could be effectively used. If a technology strategically fit the company’s technological and business objectives, I recommended ways to integrate and commercialize it. The technologies I investigated were at various stages of development: Some are available today, but others are one to two years away from being commercially available. This report describes new and evolving technologies that can enhance the performance of existing tools or aid in the development of a new generation of tools at SBL. Which gather my knowledge about Banking IT sector.I have successfully completed my internship as a member of an “Information Technology Department”. I worked as a technology operator with great joy and confidence. For this purpose I always tried to support remote user and also local user. In this work I am able to manage Network Connectivity, Hardware troubleshooting, Data recovery, Internal Communication, genuine Windows XP Professional, Antivirus Setup, Virus scan, Open office, Outlook, Primo PDF, Virtual network Computing (VNC), J Zip, Bach, Internet Phone Configuration, active directory, Printer, ups, router, switch, Team, Scanner etc.

<title>Cosmetics Zone : An Online Cosmetics Store</title>
<link>http://182.160.117.219:8080/xmlui/handle/123456789/209</link>
<description>Cosmetics Zone : An Online Cosmetics Store
Sanowar Hossain, Md. (CSE 051 06501); Hasan, Rakibul (CSE 05106481)
The Online Cosmetics Store Application keeps a large amount of Cosmetics. Each Cosmetic item is identified by name. For each item of Cosmetic, the cosmetic store also needs to record its names, titles, and category, publish date, quantity in stock in time, offers and price. This information is provided by online to make a digital cosmetic store for the customers. One customer can place any number of orders. For each order, the cosmetic store needs to record who place this order, when, the order status, total price, shipping address, payment method, bill address and ordered cosmetics. Currently for payment method, it defined check transfer and cash on delivery; hence the cosmetic store needs to record this payment information. Customer can also manage their shopping carts. One customer can have any number of shopping carts. However, each shopping cart has exactly one customer. The shopping cart contains the following information: cart ID, name, date created, date last update, books contained in this shopping cart etc. Thus, the project is an interactive online cosmetic store with online payment gateway system.
