Sub-soil exploration and determination of geotechnical properties of&#13;
sub-soil performed to evaluate soil conditions, soil formations and&#13;
different geotechnical parameters that affect the safety, cost&#13;
effectiveness, design, and execution of proposed engineering project.&#13;
Insufficient geotechnical investigations, faulty interpretation of result or&#13;
failure to portray result in a clearly understandable manner may&#13;
contribute to in appropriate designs. This thesis and project work&#13;
consist so fan adequate program of field sampling, laboratory testing,&#13;
and engineering analysis and evaluation. The analysis to be&#13;
implemented for the various types of structures. This reports presents&#13;

A Study on the Comparison Between Fresh Bar and Welded Bar Reinforcement of a Building xi&#13;
ABSTRACT&#13;
The study reveals the tensile strength of the bar changes after a fresh bar welded. The 4 specimens of fresh bar were tested and for comparison 4 specimens are welded consecutively at fixed distances and 8 samples are taken at fixed distance from weld place. For example, in the present time in construction works bars are welded for various purposes such as building slabs, beams, column lapping its use of welding. The study would likely involve conducting laboratory tests to evaluate the mechanical properties and corrosion resistance of the two types of reinforcement. These tests would include tensile strength as well as tests to evaluate the bond strength between the reinforcement and concrete. The study would also involve analyzing the structural behavior of reinforced concrete beams, slab and columns using both fresh and welded reinforcement. This would include evaluating the flexural and shear strength of the reinforced concrete elements, as well as their ductility and toughness. Other factors that may be considered in the study include the cost and ease of installation of fresh and welded reinforcement, as well as their environmental impact and sustainability.

<summary type="text">A CASE STUDY ON ANALYZING THE TRAFFIC CONDITION OF KAWRAN BAZAR IN DHAKA CITY
ISLAM MAHIN, MD JAHIDUL
The research is about to analyze the Kawran Bazar Condition in Dhaka, Bangladesh. One big problem was traffic jams, which have a bad impact on society, the environment, the economy, and daily life. The Kawran Bazar intersection in Dhaka, Bangladesh, is one of the most congested in the city, experiencing high traffic volumes throughout the day. This thesis aims to analyze the efficiency of the current traffic condition system at the intersection and propose modifications to enhance traffic flow and reduce congestion. Day by day the vehicle and population number is increasing and most of Dhaka is badly affected by massive traffic jam. Faulty traffic signaling systems, inadequate human resources, narrow and broken road spaces, and the overtaking tendency of drivers create pro-longed traffic congestion. Due to traffic jams a substantial portion of working hours have to be left on streets which indirectly has an adverse impact on economy. It causes serious air pollution and noise pollution and thus worsens the overall environmental condition. To reduce traffic jam, the government can consider the construction of roads through east-west connection of Dhaka city, construction of circular embankment-cum-road along the periphery of Dhaka city, a grade-separated road network system, bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system, and Metro-Rail system. By reducing traffic jams, this city can play a very important role by ensuring a healthy environment free from noise and pollution.
